How to hire an artisan

Hiring a professional artisan for a task

IMPORTANT: Only one artisan can be hired at a time. Hiring artisans is a feature only available to clients in Ghana at the moment. The payment agreed between a client and an artisan for a particular task must be known to Cedijob. Note that our reps will always call for update on the progress of the job.
Step 1

Select the category you want hire for and choose the location of the job.
Step 3
Add the title, location of the job, description, amount, experience level and a few other details to complete the job posting.
Step 4
Get a list of artisans available who are close the the specified location and select one.
Step 5
Accept the terms and conditions associated with Cedijob.
Step 6
Wait for us to review the job.
Step 7
Once the job is accepted, you will receive an email notification.
Step 8
At this point, we will connect you to the artisan via phone call.
Step 9
Payment is discussed and agreed. The artisan can then come around to work on the task.
Step 10
Review the job done and rate your experience.
NOTE: You can only hire one person for a job. To hire multiple people, post the job multiple times.

BUYING SERVICES

HIRING FREELANCERS

  • NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS GO THROUGH CEDIJOB. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE WITH CREDIT CARDS, MOBILE MONEY, ETC. BUT NOT BANK TRANSFERS.
  • Post your project.
  • Be on standby for a project review.
  • People who fit the project's requirements will be notified once the review is complete.
  • Wait for professionals to apply to the project.
  • Get notifications as applications go on.
  • Have a look at their cover letters and charges. Check their reviews, and view profiles.
  • Send contracts to your favourite professionals.
  • Wait for professionals to review your contract and respond.
  • Once you get the responses from professionals, accept the contract of your favourite for project.
  • Use a dashboard to track the progress of the project.
  • The dashboard is used to make payment, see invoices you've received, time spent on the project, messages, and files shared. etc.
  • Review the project and share your opinion on what you think about the job done.

HIRING ARTISANS

  • NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS GO THROUGH CEDIJOB. PAYMENT CAN BE MADE WITH CREDIT CARDS, MOBILE MONEY, ETC. BUT NOT BANK TRANSFERS.
  • Post your job.
  • Choose the job category you want. Example: Masonry, Plumbing, Electricals, Painting. etc.
  • Provide the location of the job.
  • Get a list of artisans/workers who are within the job category and are closer to the location of the job.
  • Choose your favorite for the job. Check their reviews, and view profiles.
  • Be on standby for a job review.
  • Speak to the worker and share information on where to meet, time and other details.
  • See the worker's Cedijob ID and scan to verify whether he/she is a verified member of Cedijob. This is necessary check for security reasons. Do not skip this check.
  • Start the job. Please note that we will call you for enquiries on the progress of the job.
  • Use a dashboard to track the progress of the project.
  • The dashboard is used to make payment after the job is done.
  • Review the job and share your opinion on what you think about the job done.
