Hiring an Artisan

How to Hire a Professional Artisan for a Task

IMPORTANT: Currently, hiring artisans is only available to clients in Ghana. Please note that only one artisan can be hired at a time. Cedijob must be aware of the agreed payment between the client and the artisan for a particular task. Our representatives will always call for updates on the progress of the job.
IMPORTANT: We have the option to modify your job in order to correct typos or enhance its quality.
Step 1

Select the category for which you want to hire an artisan and choose the location of the job.
Step 3
Add the job title, location, description, budget, experience level, and other necessary details to complete the job posting.
Step 4
Get a list of available artisans who are close to the specified location and select one.
Step 5
Read and accept the terms and conditions associated with Cedijob.
Step 6
Wait for us to review the job.
Step 7
Once the job is accepted, you will receive an email notification.
Step 8
At this point, we will connect you to the artisan via a phone call.
Step 9
Discuss and agree on the payment with the artisan. The artisan can then proceed to work on the task.
Step 10
Review the completed job and rate your experience.
NOTE: You can only hire one person for a job. To hire multiple individuals, post the job multiple times.

BUYING SERVICES

  • Please be aware that all payments are processed through CEDIJOB. You can make payments using various methods such as credit cards, mobile money, etc., but bank transfers are not accepted.

  • Submit your project.
  • Stay ready for a project review.
  • Once the review is complete, individuals who meet the project's requirements will be notified.
  • Wait for professionals to submit their applications for the project.
  • Receive notifications as new applications are submitted.
  • Review their cover letters and pricing details. Evaluate their reviews and view their profiles.
  • Send contracts to the professionals you have chosen as your favorites.
  • Wait for the professionals to review your contract and respond.
  • Once you receive responses from professionals, accept the contract of your preferred candidate for the project.
  • Utilize a dashboard to monitor the progress of the project.
  • The dashboard allows you to make payments, view received invoices, track project time, communicate through messages, share files, and more.
  • Provide a project review and share your feedback on the completed job.

HIRING ARTISANS

  • NOTE: ALL PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED THROUGH CEDIJOB. PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE USING CREDIT CARDS, MOBILE MONEY, AND OTHER METHODS, BUT NOT THROUGH BANK TRANSFERS.
  • Create a new job posting.
  • Select the desired job category, such as Masonry, Plumbing, Electricals, Painting, and more.
  • Specify the job location.
  • Receive a list of artisans/workers in the selected job category who are located near the job location.
  • Select your preferred artisan/worker for the job. Review their feedback and view their profiles.
  • Stay prepared for a job review process.
  • Communicate with the worker and exchange information regarding the meeting location, time, and other relevant details.
  • Verify the worker's identity and membership status in Cedijob by checking their Cedijob ID and scanning it. This step is crucial for security purposes, and it should not be overlooked.
