JOBS/PROJECTS
Receiving Payments
- Invoices are created and sent to clients anytime a worker wants to request for money.
- The amount requested, due date and description are required for the invoice to be created.
- Currently, we encourage clients and professionals to agree on the invoice amount.
- After the invoice amount is paid by the client, Cedijob makes 85% ( freelance projects ) to 90% ( artisan-related jobs ) of the total amount available for withdrawal to the worker after 24 hours to 7 working days. Note that the amount after being paid by the client is non-refundable and that it is made available for withdrawal ( regardless of whether the job is cancelled or not ) to the worker right away. We therefore recommend that clients review every task carefully before payment is made.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Clients send contracts to their favourite applicants for any job they are hiring for. The contract creates an agreement on the total amount the client intends to pay for the entire job. Cedijob charges 10% ( artisan-related jobs ) to 15% ( freelance projects ) on the total amount agreed upon. We therefore take 10% to 15% commision on any invoice the client pays for and makes the remaining available for withdrawal to the worker.
- Cedijob partners with Payment Services Providers for purposes of collecting payments from Clients, transferring such payments from Clients to Workers, and holding funds in connection with Cedijob Balances. All payments services in connection with the withdrawal of funds on the Cedijob platform are performed by Cedijob’s Payment Services Providers.
