Do I have to pay to request or post a job?
Cedijob does not charge for job posting or service requests. You only pay for the service provided.
Why can't I find a Pro?
When booking a task, you should see a list of Pros based on factors such as availability, work area, category, and price.
However, since Pros are independent contractors, they have the flexibility to set their own rates, schedules, and work areas. This means that depending on local demand, there may be times when Pros are not available.
If you cannot find any available Pros in your area, you may try checking other dates and times to see if any have availability on different days.
What's the cancellation policy?
If you cancel a confirmed task within 24 hours of its scheduled start time, you may be charged a one-hour cancellation fee based on the Pro's hourly rate. This policy is in place because Pros allocate their time and may turn down other work to assist you.
Cancellations are internally reviewed to determine if a fee is applicable. Rest assured, if the cancellation is the Pro's fault, you will not be charged the fee.
Are Pros licensed?
Pros come from various backgrounds, including young professionals and stay-at-home parents. They are independent contractors and not employed by Cedijob.
While Pros bring personal experience and expertise, they are not licensed professionals. According to our Terms of Service, Cedijob is a communications platform that connects clients and Pros. Cedijob does not offer licensed professional services.

How Pricing Works
Pricing varies among the professionals on our platform, as they are independent contractors with different levels of experience and skills. To ensure transparency, we inform you about the cost before you begin. The Cedijob commission accounts for 10-20% of the quoted amount. All quotes are non-negotiable, and by selecting a Pro, you agree to pay Cedijob the quoted base amount. Base amounts may change based on time and job demand.
For jobs requiring materials, you will receive a quote that lists the job cost and material cost. Quotes are monitored to ensure customers receive accurate material prices. A down payment for the cost of materials may be required when selecting your Pro.
Warranties & Guarantees
We are committed to ensuring that our Pros complete every job to your satisfaction. If a job is not completed according to the agreed-upon specifications, simply reply to the project conclusion email within 24 hours, and our job management team will work with the professional to address any outstanding issues. Please note that payment is released to the Pro 24 hours after job completion, so any complaints must be shared before this time.
In some cases, our professionals provide warranties for newly procured parts or completed jobs. The warranties are communicated when they share their quote, and you can review the details and duration of the warranty. If you experience a related problem during the warranty period, please let us know by replying to the payment confirmation email received after the job's completion. Our team will coordinate with the professional to fix the issue at the earliest mutually convenient date.
Cedijob cannot take responsibility for damage or loss caused by Cedijob Pros beyond the immediate scope of the project. By selecting a Pro, you are directly engaging them as an independent contractor.
Can I tip my Pro?
If you are satisfied with the service you received and would like to show appreciation to the Pro, we encourage you to rate and review them at the end of the service. If you choose to add a monetary tip, the amount is at your discretion. Please note that any tips paid directly to the Pro will not be considered as payment for any additional services or changes during your service. You will still receive another invoice from Cedijob for any pending and outstanding charges.
How do I get paid?
You can get paid by adding your Mobile Money account (MTN, Vodafone, and AirtelTigo). This is the account to which we will transfer your earnings or refunds.
What means of payment are available on Cedijob?
You can make payments with payment cards such as Visa and MasterCard, as well as Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, and AirtelTigo).
